Refund policy
At AWAYFROMOBJECT, we take great pride in the craftsmanship and quality of our pieces. Because many of our items are made to order or feature natural materials, we adhere to the following professional standards for all transactions.
I. PRODUCT CATEGORIES & RETURNS
A. FURNITURE All furniture items—including but not limited to seating, tables, case goods, and outdoor furniture—are considered Final Sale and are non-returnable.
B. LIGHTING Lighting fixtures may be returned within 14 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be in their original, unopened, and uninstalled condition. Returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee plus all applicable shipping costs.
C. DECOR & ACCESSORIES Decor and accessory items may be returned within 14 days of delivery for store credit or exchange only. A 20% restocking fee applies, plus all shipping costs. Items must be returned in their original, unused condition.
D. TEXTILES & WALLPAPER All sales of fabric, wallpaper, and personal care textile products are Final Sale. No returns or exchanges will be accepted.
II. PAYMENT TERMS
A. LIGHTING, DECOR, & TEXTILES Full payment, including applicable taxes and shipping fees, is required at the time of order placement for all lighting, decor, accessories, fabric, and wallpaper.
B. GENERAL INFORMATION Price quotes are valid for 30 days. We accept credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and checks. Please note that all wire transfer fees are the responsibility of the Buyer. Orders are officially processed only upon the successful receipt of the required payment or deposit.
III. CUSTOM ORDERS
Custom or bespoke orders require full payment at the time of placement. These orders are non-refundable after a 48-hour grace period. Any requested changes after this period may incur additional fees and extend lead times.
IV. DAMAGES & ISSUES
Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. In the event that an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us at studio@awayfromobject.com within 48 hours so we can evaluate the issue and rectify it.
V. REFUNDS & PROCESSING
For eligible returns, we will notify you once your item has been received and inspected. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable.
European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period For merchandise shipped into the European Union, customers retain the right to cancel or return orders within 14 days for any reason, provided the item is in its original, unused condition and packaging. Final sale terms for custom goods still apply.
