Shipping policy
At AWAYFROMOBJECT, each piece is handcrafted and made to order in our studio. We prioritize the safety of your shipment to ensure that our sculptural lighting and furniture arrive in pristine condition.
I. PRODUCTION & LEAD TIMES
A. MADE TO ORDER Because our collection is handcrafted, production lead times generally range from 2 to 6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the piece. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been processed, followed by a shipping notification and tracking details once your item is in transit.
B. ORDER PROCESSING Please allow 2 to 5 business days for our team to process your order and initiate the production schedule.
II. DOMESTIC SHIPPING
A. FREE SHIPPING Free shipping applies to standard orders within the contiguous United States.
B. CALCULATED SHIPPING For oversized items or specific furniture pieces, shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout based on the dimensions, weight, and destination of the order.
III. INTERNATIONAL & NON-CONTIGUOUS SHIPPING
For orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations, shipping rates will be calculated at checkout. Please note that the Buyer is responsible for all duties, taxes, and brokerage fees associated with international transit.
IV. DAMAGE CLAIMS & INSPECTION
A. MANDATORY INSPECTION Upon delivery, please inspect the shipping container and the product immediately. If your order arrives damaged, you must notify us at studio@awayfromobject.com within 48 hours of receipt.
B. CLAIM REQUIREMENTS To process a damage claim, please include the following in your email:

Your order number.

Clear photographs of the damaged item.

Photographs of the exterior and interior shipping containers/packaging.
C. RESOLUTION Damage claims are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. For approved returns of damaged goods, the item must be shipped back in its original container and packaging with full insurance. We are committed to ensuring a satisfactory solution, whether through repair, replacement, or credit.
