The Lora Lounge Chair started as an exploration of material contrast—wanting to see how the rigid, architectural precision of burlwood could sit alongside the soft fluidity of decorative fringe.
Framed in book-matched veneer, the chair allows the intricate, natural grain of the wood to act as the primary artwork. We added a high-gloss lacquer to give the surface a reflective depth, then softened the entire silhouette with a heavy, textured upholstery. It is a piece that nods to vintage glamour while feeling entirely grounded in a modern space. Every chair is handcrafted in our studio to ensure that the balance between strength and comfort is perfectly met.
